MANIPAL UNIVERSITY, 57 Years of bringing people closer

Water, water and water, this is what i am currently surrounded with !

All the clothes, i am wearing are completely wet and are sticking to my body. Droplets are seeping down from the hairs to my lips. Moreover the cool breeze is hitting my bone marrow. I am afraid, my laptop doesn't deny working for me.The keyboard is already annoyed with the drops that somehow managed to reach it through my finger tips. And above all i am dying with hunger, waiting for the rain to stop! :(

This is what happens with most of them out in Manipal. Manipal is among the top places in India which receives heavy rainfall. But the biggest problem out here is that you never know when it'll start raining. It's sunny in the morning and it starts raining suddenly when it's time to go back to the hostels. I still remember a statement told by one of our seniors when i came to Manipal for the first time: "Dude, you may forget to carry an Handkerchief but never, ever forget to carry an Umbrella" and if don't, you are gone; as is the case with me right now.

I can see people in a group of two, three or even more, going under a single umbrella. Even i am waiting for someone whom I can join...
